Last Sunday, surfing in the Internet, I arrived at Noelia Ávila’s blog. Noelia, from San Juan, Argentina, had just posted a video on how to fold the origami heart in the photo below. I folded it immediately, not out of an isosceles triangle as she has it, but out of a square folded diagonally in half, which is the same as far as shape goes, but perhaps the double thickness makes it a little firmer. The other thing I did differently was that I inside-reversed the side folds, so as to leave two vertical supports that keep the heart raised when placed on a flat surface. I will add this charming origami heart to my repertoire of simple and elegant models. And it is a good model to carry flat in my wallet. Good job Noelia!
