Last Tuesday I registered on line for the origami convention in New York City, scheduled for the end of June.
When I lived in Brooklyn it was very easy for me to make the decision to attend to the whole the convention without regard for budget. Ever since I live more than 200 miles away from the city, to the cost of registration I have had to add the cost of lodging and transportation. I have cut certain corners but I have not missed going. This annual convention is a highlight of my year. It is the nearest convention I can attend. It attracts me as much as a bakery where it smells of hot bread.
I can’t wait to arriving there and sensing that sweet aroma of folded paper!
