If you found a cat like this, congratulations, you are a very special person!!
Your mission, if you decide to accept it, is to share with us where you found him. Then, leave the cat in a public place so that he can be found by someone else and continue his travels.
If you would like to make a cat like this yourself, here are the instructions.*
Keep the cat traveling and cheers to you!
*Diagram error: Step #4 is a little confusing. Do the valley fold shown in the white triangle. Ignore the green triangle on the left because it represents paper that is not there. Proceed with step #5.

mreow .. i love her ..*cuddles lil kitty*
I was inspired by a cat by Hiroaki Takai to create Dollar-Bill-Fold version of the cat. It is very similar to the cat in this picture.
A picture of it is in this site. You need to scroll down.. it is cat #6.
It is a rather simple model to fold (one tricky step of course) and once learned can be done in a short time.
I would like to provide a verbal explanation to follow the steps.
#1- starting position (black side up; upside down)
#2- folded in half lengthwise (a mountain fold) maintaining orientation.
#3- squash fold as shown. bottom should be very straight.
#4- fold points of triangle to top.
#5- fold bill over so the top of the bill and the top of the ‘ears’ meet
#6- step 5 finished
#7- sorry about focus- show that tail is inside reversed.
#8- step 7 finished
#9- inside reverse tail to a 45 angle. Bottom again should be straight.
#10- step 9 finished front veiw
#11- step 9 finished back view (note point is longer than fold bottom
#12- open this end to position in #2 (just make it the mountain fold)
#13- fold back corners at a 45 angle as shown (both sides)
#14- steps 12 + 13 finished
#15- squash fold point down to bottom and flatten as shown. Note position of “0″’s or eyes.
#16- this is an outside reverse fold done to the degree you find best. The cattier the better.
#17- from the rear. Note the tucking of the point. This not only helps hold it solid but adds tension to the curve of back and tail.
#18- Fold the nose up and it’s Done. Twist the tail to the degree you want. The model stands in most curl positions. You may have to fuss with it on the eyes, but I think you will like it.
Happy folding… meeooowwwww!!
